Many transportation options are available including taxi, shuttles, and local busses through the beautiful jungles on highway 15. Auto rentals are available and driving is easy allowing you to take those day trips to the little towns off the beaten track to see non-tourist Mexico.
One of the largest misconceptions is that Mexico’s medical services may not be on par with services in some other areas, but San Pancho boasts the only regional hospital with full emergency services. Many small towns in Mexico also have clinics with very good onsite services for most needs. Puerto Vallarta has major hospitals and there is an internationally known hospital in Guadalajara a few hours away.
